Today’s passage says this: “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Imagine the time when you felt down, tired or alone and nobody came around to tell you that, despite everything “Your God reigns!”. Imagine the times when only people who criticize you, always have to say something bad abo…ut you came around to do what pleases their heart instead of saying “Your God reigns!” The fact is, because of our fallen world and everything going around, many people (including believers) spread the bad news that brings fear or discouragement in people like the devil faster than they spread Good News of the Almighty who reigns forever.
My brother, my sister, God says that the feet of those who bring good news are “beautiful”. It is a wonderful privilege to be able to share God’s Good News with others, His news of redemption, salvation and peace. My friend, think today: to whom do you need to give the Good News? Remember always that Jesus was ‘disfigured’ and suffered because of the Good News He brought to announce the cleansing of the nations. Therefore, do not be afraid to climb the mountains to spread His Good News, for He has already made your feet beautiful to go and tell people that God reigns and that Jesus is alive. Today, my friend, no matter what you are going through, I have come to tell you that “Your God reigns!” Trust in Him, Trust in Jesus… all is well. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
