TODAY’S MEDITATION – Your enemy is under your footstool (Psalm 110:1)

As Christians, we should live a life of victory, knowing that through Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross, obstacles, temptation, sickness and all those unwanted circumstances are now under our feet. My brother, my sister, you don’t need to fight like you do and nothing in this world can stop the plan of God for your life. Everything you live is a process that is leading you to your victorious life in Christ. So, whenever you feel tired, discouraged, intimidated, worried, full of doubt, don’t stop believing in your victory and know that such feelings also hinder God’s work in your life, because He promises to be there for you no matter what. That is why it is important for us, Christians, to “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Yes, let’s learn to look up to the Lord and to look down to unwanted situations, because the Lord Jesus said “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you” (Luke 10:19). My friend, you CAN trample on the obstacles of your life with the assurance that nothing will harm you. Obstacles are all under your feet and already defeated, so gather your strength in Christ who arms you for the battle and subdues your enemies under your feet (2 Samuel 22:40), have boldness and faith in order to activate God’s power in a new way to enter your victory. Yes, if you want God to make your enemies your footstool, then be still knowing that He is God. You see, when we let obstacles lead us to try to make things to happen, God steps back and watches us to do things our own ways. Today, my friend, call on the Lord and tell Him you trust He is fighting your battles and that He will make your wrongs right because He promised that all things work for your good. Now… remain joyful and stay in peace for the God of justice is fighting on your side for His glory. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
