God, the Creator of all the creation, our Father, the most High, is self-existent and is the one who spoke all things into being and who created human beings as His masterpiece for a purpose: to do good works! My brother, my sister, on your own you are incapable of doing anything that is truly good, but in Christ you can fulfill the purposes for which you are created… God prepared those works in advance for you to do and He is not asking you to figure out what good works you want to do, but He wants to use you as a conduit through which He will accomplish His own works…That is why we, believers, have to walk and live in a way that glorifies the Lord, a life worthy of the calling we have received. This also implies growing together in our spiritual maturity, being obedient to the Word, loving the others… Today, give joyful thanks to your Father that according to Colossians 1:12-14, you share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light because He has rescued you from the dominion of darkness and brought you into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
