TODAY’S MEDITATION – What is hindering the Lord from acting in your life? (Isaiah 50:1-2)

Throughout the Bible, God has proved His loving care for His people, doing the impossible when no one expected a solution to come uo, just like He opened the red sea for His people to run away from Pharaoh’s army. My brother, my sister, our Lord has not changed and He is still doing the same for us today. He wants to fight out battles, He wants to restore us, He wants to heal us, He wants to fulfill His promises for all of us even when things look impossible for us. Therefore, we should never doubt that your living Lord is standing by your side, trying to draw your attention telling you: ‘cast this burden unto me… have rest’. Unfortunately, we are the ones hindering Him from acting mightily in our lives, for when He is ready to deliver us, does He find us ready for our deliverance? He says: “Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away. When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. My friend, today, check yourself and see if you have not forgotten, neglected or turned your trust away from the Lord. He will never abandon you. All He needs from you is a clean, pure and humble heart, so that He can fight your battles and fulfill His promises to you now, not tomorrow! Have you ever seen Jesus telling someone, go you will see your miracle tomorrow? Have you ever seen those people Jesus delivered putting their trust in His disciples or anyone else? My friend, it is when you are ready for your deliverance, that the Lord delivers you… When you are ready for healing, He heals you, etc. Being ready implies there is something you need to do: YOU NEED TO PREPARE YOURSELF! Yes, when you are ready… according to His Word! He is a faithful God. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name [retweet] [facebook]
