The Bible clearly states things that will happen before Christ returns: the people of Israel returning to their land (Ezekiel 37:21-22); deceivers claiming to follow Jesus, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes, increased wickedness and loss of love (Matthew 24:4-12); strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:11). My brother, my sister, we have certainly noticed most of these signs and there are more signs in the book of Revelation. But today the question you need to ask yourself is: “How I am preparing myself for the return of Christ?” You see, God does not want His people to be ignorant of the times in which they live. Why? Because He does not want us to be caught off guard when Christ returns. Therefore Christians should live prepared for the Lord’s return at any moment. And to do so, my friends, as Apostle Paul says, we are to edify one another, show the unbelievers in the world our faith in the Lord, we are to be a testimony of those who are not afraid of death because we know that when it comes we have the assurance to be with the Lord, only because we believe in Him as our Lord and Saviour and that we live according to His principles.
