TODAY’S MEDITATION – What do you do as the Passover approaches? (Romans 12: 17-21)

The Passover is approaching. My brother, my sister, now is the time to start putting our spiritual homes in order. In fact, this year we will no doubt be confined, far from the church celebration, but that does not remove the fact that the Lord Jesus is watching us to see how we will react before the celebration of the Passover. Will we be spiritually ready?
Apostle Paul teaches us how to live throughout the year, not just before The Passover: “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a] says the Lord. On the contrary: ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”(Romans 12:17-21).
The Word of God shows us the attitudes and actions that we must manifest towards our brothers and sisters and towards all human beings. It also tells us what to do if we want our sins to be forgiven. We must forgive others and show them true love, even if they do not repent of the sins committed against us. God, who is the perfect judge, will reward us according to our works.
The Passover approaches and you know that Christ is watching you, my brother, my sister, how are you going to react? Will you be spiritually ready to honor Jesus by Sunday when we celebrate His death and resurrection? Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
