TODAY’S MEDITATION – We are partakers in the Kingdom of God, not little gods (Ephesians 2:18-19).

Because of Jesus, we have a position in God’s family and have been given special rights. There is also an inheritance stored up and available for us right now in this lifetime and in eternal life. My brother, my sister, what we receive from God is not based on our actions but rather we receive it by grace through faith because of Who we know Jesus is and what He did for us on the Cross. We don’t need to be little gods to receive our inheritance, we only need to be like Jesus, witnessing to the others, demonstrating love, being obedient to the Word… So to those who believe they can call things into existence because they are little gods, I want to say, just apply what the Bible teaches us: we are the children of God, and we are given the power to activate God’s Promises. Doing so does not make us gods! Yes, we can speak God’s promises and blessings into our lives because the Bible says: “The tongue has the power of life and death” (Proverbs 18:21). Yes, my friend, your words can bless or destroy. Claim God’s promises as your own and speak them to change your life or circumstances. When you feel weak, declare… “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). When you are in need, say… “God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). When you are sick, recall the Lord that He is the God who “forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:3). This is what will bring into existence whatever you ask the Lord in Jesus’ name… for He is God and He is faithful and He said: “my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it… (Isaiah 55:11). Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
