Today’s verse says: « Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. »
My brother, my sister, let me tell you a quick story! One day I was watching a movie. Parents were invited to their son’s school. The teacher told the parents the son speaks inappropriately and they should watch how he speaks to help him improve. The father answered to the teacher using a same phrase that the son had previously used. Then the teacher understood where the son had learned to speak using inappropriate language!
Are you getting my point? Our father is in Heaven not on Earth! He has set standards and rules and His Word shows us how He speaks: He speaks light, not darkness… He speaks life, not death…
You see, He made you a special person, blessed and blessed to be a blessing to others! When you remember to speak like your Father in Heaven you can rest assured because He is not a man to lie. So believe that as He renews His mercies this very morning, something good is going to happen to you today!
Many will try to distract you from what God has for you. But remember that you are a chosen people. You are set aside for goodness. You are a child of God. So, declare it today and every day. Guard your tongue and your heart. Be careful of your words.
Now, how do you speak like your Father? Simply by declaring His Word! Today, let’s declare together: I speak to every mountain of discouragement, stress, depression and lack, and say, “Be cast into the sea in Jesus’ name” (Mark 11:22-24) ; I declare that I serve a mighty God, who today will do exceedingly, abundantly beyond all that I can ask or think in Jesus name (Ephesians 3:20).
Now, keep declaring and praising your Father and believe in what you declare and also believe in Him.
Let’s pray: Father God, I honour You, with all that is within me. I give You all glory and honour. Today, I surrender my life to Your will. I thank you for blessing me with life this morning and for all you have blessed me with. You are my God! I need You! I trust You Lord Jesus and know that I am safe in your hands. Thank You Jesus! Holy Spirit, take control of my mind, heart and soul and help me to do what pleases the Father and teach me to speak the language that pleases Him too. In Jesus name I pray.
