TODAY’S MEDITATION – Remain faithful to the Word of God (2 Corinthians 4:1-2)

Today’s passage says this: This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

My brother, my sister, as we know, we all are on earth to serve God so that His Kingdom may come on earth. It is because many have chosen to serve the world, money, their passions that there is more evil than good in this fallen world. Today, as we read these passage, we should remember that apostle Paul condemned those who twist God’s Word. Preachers, teachers and anyone else who talks about Jesus Christ must remember that they stand in God’s presence and He hears every word. Nowadays, many ministers and leaders of the people of God twist the Word of God in their attempt to motivate their audiences; others take the Scriptures out of context to promote their own views… Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God, and He sees all that!

My friend, when you tell people about Christ, be careful not to distort His message to please your audience: proclaim the truth of the Word of God, for God is in His Word and He will stand for His Word not for whatever is tinted with personal ambitions, self-centered interests or purposeful deceit. Let’s learn, as the servants of the Most High, to remain faithful to His Word. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
