Most people like to postpone things they need to do at the present time: it’s common to hear unbelievers saying, the time has not come for them to start believing or those who say it’s not time yet to start a family, to go to church, etc. My brother, my sister, life is so short and we cannot afford to spend our lives wasting it with things that are insignificant and that are vain and that there is a time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). The Word reminds us that life is like a vapour: “What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes” (James 4:14). Therefore, the way you look at life can make all the difference in the world, because the way you would live it would also be different. As believers, we should always remember that, the Bible has written the word NOW many times and in large letters throughout the Gospel message. Why? Because the right time is NOW. Yes, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation, now is the time for obedience to God’s Word. Yes, NOW is the time to seek God’s will, God’s kingdom, God’s righteousness… My friend, you may think you are not concerned with this message, but you may know someone who is, so spread the Good News and tell them that TODAY, yes NOW, is the time to be saved, the time to change their way of living, the time to seek God’s face, the time to turn back to God, etc. Why? Because, without Christ, we have no guarantee of TOMORROW. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
