TODAY’S MEDITATION – My friend, provoke your visitation!(Luke 1:26)

Today’s passage says this: “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth”. My brother, my sister, this month should be a time when you are looking for intimacy with God because it is the time of the visitation.

Most of the time, God meets His people when they are well disposed to listen to Him. The sixth month marks half of the year. You have time to seek God before the end of this month in order to get His guidance and His will for the next sixth month. My friend, the rest of the year can be different, divine if only you would abandon your own ways to lean on God’s ways during this time. The Bible tells us this: “It came about in the sixth year, on the fifth day of the sixth month, as I was sitting in my house with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell on me there” (Ezekiel 8:1). Today, determine that you want to provoke your own visitation by seeking to God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind. Put away your desires and passions at least for the rest of this month for God will reveal Himself to those sincerely seeking Him.

My friend, the Lord says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13,) Maybe you have never “talked” to God before, but you honestly want to know if He is real . Perhaps you have an issue for which you need some answers, but you have never really asked God what He has to say about it. Today, He is telling you this: “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and wondrous things you do not know.”(Jeremiah 33:3). My friend, provoke your visitation! Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
