TODAY’S MEDITATION – Make the most of your walk with God (Psalm 1:1-6)

As Christians, we live in the world but sometimes it can be hard to live a godly life because our family and the people we hang around with can have a profound influence on us. My sister, my brother, do your friends or family members build up your faith, or do they tear it down? True friendship should help you to draw closer to God, not hinder your relationship with Him. As a child of God, if you want to make the most of your walk with God, you need to look into these questions carefully:
1) HOW ARE YOU BEING INFLUENCED BY THE WORLD?
2)DO YOU MEDITATE THE WORD OF GOD REGULARLY?
3) WHAT ARE YOU BECOMING SINCE YOU BECAME A CHRISTIAN?
Today, many people live carelessly not giving much thought about their relationship with God. Yet, one day we will all stand before the Creator of this universe. Another question you need to ask yourself as you are walking with the Lord is: will God be your Heavenly Father who will receive you as a forgiven child? Or will God be your Judge who will expel you to an eternal punishment? Just bear in mind that God does not judge anyone based on their sex, race or national origin. He will judge you on the basis of your faith in Him and your response to His revealed will. My friends, those who are making the most of their walk with God will diligently try to obey God’s will and they are blessed. The Bible says, they are like healthy know that, fruit-bearing trees planted along a riverbank with strong roots (Jeremiah 17:7-8) and God promises to watch over them. Besides, to make the most of your walk with God, it is essential that you know Christ as your Lord and Savior. Apart from Christ there is no walk with God. Apart from Christ there is no saving relationship with God. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
