Today’s verse says: « Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] » (Matthew 11:28).
If your soul has been overwhelmed by life this week, and you’re tired, frustrated and don’t know how you will face another day like this, then do what today’s verse says.
As you do your morning/evening meditations today, spend time with God, so His life-giving Spirit that dwells within you can refresh your weary soul to face another day. May the God who is able to do all things continue to stand by your side! In Christ Jesus’s mighty name we pray. Amen.
Let’s pray based on Psalm 143:8
Heavenly Father, let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Help me in my weaknesses by your grace. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
