TODAY’S MEDITATION – Let the Lord fight your battles (2 Chronicles 20:17)

One day, anyone can go through this time when all we need is a one-way ticket to anywhere, as long as it is far from our life, our environment or painful circumstances. My brother, my sister, when facing such moments, we generally tend to start questioning our faith, God or find it hard to focus on what the cross actually means for us: ictory is ours through Jesus!!! My friend, yes, there is always good news for us in the midst of your fights. Therefore, as The Lord is telling you today: “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you (…) Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you” (2 Chronicles 20:17). My friends, in the midst of turmoil, all you need to do is to draw near to the Lord like never before and do what He says: first, position yourself in prayers. That’s the time you need to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). The Second thing is to stand still, which means stop trying to sort out things, you stop crying or complaining (Exodus 14:13). But instead, start thanking the Lord in trust because everything that has happened or is happening to you is an open door for God to pour out his blessings on your life, do that He may be glorified by your restoration, for “we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). The victory in your thoughts will enable you to perceive the Lord’s victory in your life as you start feeling at peace and experience the sovereignty of the one who is your hiding place; protects your from trouble and surrounds you with songs of victory (Psalm 32:7). Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
