Sometimes, we go through so many things that it seems we will never get over them. My brother, my sister, have you ever been in a situation where nobody seems to give you an answer that gives you peace? Yes, we all go through that moment at some point of time. My friend, today’s verse says ” Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” What does this means for us? Simply that the Lord Jesus Christ and all of heaven are waiting upon us to call out to Him when we have a need. Yes, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17). My friend, are you in a need today? Then know that Jesus Christ will never act in your life unless you come or call out to Him. He wants you to acknowledge Him as your Lord and the very power and love of your Life. When you do so, and when you give Him all the glory and praise, He will stand up for you, because all He is telling you today is: “and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honour me” (Psalm 50:15). My friend, through your prayer and praise acknowledge that Jesus Christ is your Lord, your Saviour and your Provider. The problem with many believers today is that their life is filled with pride, independence and stubbornness, which makes them never never receive anything from the Lord. Indeed, when you humble yourself, call out and return to the Jesus with a need, you are also glorifying Him and lifting up His name up. Thus, He will pour out His power, peace, love upon you and answer your needs as the Word says: “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all” (Psalm 34:19)!
