TODAY’S MEDITATION – If you have the feeling that God is sleeping over your situation…(Psalm 121:3)

My brother, my sister, has your life been slipping down a hill so fast that you have the feeling that God is sleeping over your situation? You see, today’s verse says the Lord “will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber.”

You see, Jesus rose from the dead and He is interceding in your favour (Hebrews 7:24-25). Now, let’s us answer this important question: WHY DOES JESUS INTERCEDE FOR US AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD (Romans 8:34)? Because when He does that, He continues to intervene on our behalf, because He has forgiven us: “having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14). Now, at the right hand of God, Jesus is continuously answering the valid accusations made by Satan day and night against us for our violations of God’s laws. So, How can Jesus sleep over your situation, then? Therefore, if you have the feeling that the Lord is sleeping over your situation, you should rather check that you are not the one sleeping over your own situation by having a mind set on things that does not allow the Spirit of God to give you God’s perspective, which is the only perspective that can really change your situation by bringing about a way out, a breakthrough, a restoration or healing. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
