TODAY’S MEDITATION – How can you introduce Jesus to others? (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

At times, we are confronted by unbelievers who think that there a many or different ways to God and we sometimes lack words to explain our own belief in Jesus Christ being the only way to God. My brother, my sister, next time someone questioned you on this issue, simply put it to them this way: God can use different ways to bring us back to Him… but we can use only one way to go back to God! You see, we are standing on one side of a bridge that offers many entries (religions, earthly beliefs, doctrines, atheism, worldly beliefs, Mohammed, Buddha, Jesus Christ, etc.) and we need to get to the other side. The only problem is that among all these entries, ONLY ONE takes you to God, the others being short-cuts that will lead you to the abyss of sin that is under the bridge. Whatever happens, WE ALL MUST CHOOSE A SINGLE WAY and COMMIT TO ONE BRIDGE. Now, because of our sinful nature, we need someone who is sinless, a mediator who can stand between God and human beings and bring us together again. Only one person in the universe can do that because He is both God and Man and died on the cross for us, not only to bring us new life and reconcile us with the Father, but also to become our mediator: “there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people” verses 5-6). And Jesus Himself said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Yes, my friends, we should never be contented by our status as believers and Christians while many people around us are still hesitating on the side of the bridge not knowing what entry to take and have still not found the way, the truth and the life. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
