TODAY’S MEDITATION – He is risen…alleluia! (Matthew 28:6)

My brother, my sister, imagine that day: the heartbroken disciples are still secretly crying because even if they walked with Jesus and trusted in His words, they were human being and how painful death is! Then all of a sudden, the hear the good news coming like a loud trumpet waking call: “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay”.
My friend, as we celebrate the risen Lord this morning, I want to tell you that the Good News of Jesus is based on WHAT HE SAID. No matter what you are going through, wter it be sickness, financial difficulties, a broken heart, difficulties that can’t be named enough to make you feel better, remember that Jesus rose from the dead just as He said. And your life will be just as He said, if you put your hope and your eyes on Him. The great problem, delay and the absence of God’s action in our lives is the result of our disbelief in what Jesus said… Can you imagine how those who walked with Jesus felt until that Sunday of resurrection? The Bible even tells us that Thomas doubted and wanted to see and touch to believe that what Jesus had said indeed happened the way He had said: “Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe” (John 20:24-25). You see, if you are waiting to see the nail marks in the hand of the Jesus to believe in His Word, then the hope of His resurrection can have no effect in your life, because He might never appear to you as He did for Thomas or Saul for you to believe in Him then humble yourself and pray and seek His face and turn from your wicked ways… for this is what His resurrection should lead us to in order for us to be heard from heaven, to be forgiven our sins and our land to be healed (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Today, my friend, I want to encourage you to believe in the power of resurrection of Jesus Christ, for this power is the power that brings life to every dead end circumstance, every dead situation and this power defeats death itself and all of Satan’s plans. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, is alive! Alleluia… Celebrate Him with shouts and acclamation, with great joy and a sound determination to follow Him wholeheartedly and to to believe in His Word about every situation in your life, for Jesus is the Word made flesh and what He says is what is. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
