TODAY’S MEDITATION – God has always provided for His people (Hosea 11:3)

Today’s passage says this: “It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed t
My brother, my sister, sometimes we are like the people of God in the Bible. Today God is telling us that He has consistently provided for His people and so He does for us. But, the truth is that very often we refuse to see what He has done and show no interest in thanking Him as we should.
You see, ungratefulness is a common human fault. For example, when was the last time you thanked your parents for caring for you? When was the last time you thanked your pastor and other servants of God for the service they give your church? When was the last time you thanked your child’s teacher for the care taken with each day’s activities? When is the last time you thanked Heavenly Father for His guidance, your family, your work, your health, etc.?
Many of the benefits and privileges we enjoy are the result of loving actions done lon ago. Today, my friend, look for hidden acts of nurturing and thank those who make the world better through their love. But begin by thanking God for all His blessings and Jesus for He said: “you can do nothing without Him” (John 15:5), and everything achievement in your life was done by His strength, His might and His invisible but real presence in your life. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
