TODAY’S MEDITATION – Go and tell the others what Jesus has done for you (Luke 8:38-39)

Unlike many others to whom Jesus gives the opposite instruction, in the passage, Jesus commands this man to go and tell the others what has happened in his life. My brother, my sister, you can be sure of this: Jesus is asking you to tell others about what He has done to bless us. Sometimes, we think that when the Lord blesses us with great, huge things, that is the time we should testimony about Him. Yet the Bible says: “‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!” (Matthew 25:23). My friend, what do you do with the very little the Lord has given you to deal with so far? Are you only waiting for great things to start giving your testimony of Him? Yes, Jesus has done small things to bless your life. Start sharing them with others when God gives you the chance, so that you can be entrusted because the Word of God says: “”Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much” (Luke 16:10). Are you giving God all the glory for those little things He has blessed you with? If not, then my friend, start praying for God to open your eyes to see what He is doing in your life that you seem to take for granted, then go and tell the people around you who are waiting to hear this Good News! Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
