[one_fourth] First of all, you need to know that you don’t give to God because you expect Him to give you back. However, the Bible says that God blesses our faith and obedience to His Word, which are at the heart of giving, since giving is a sacrifice! My brother, my sister, when you give, God promises to supply your needs…not your wants for “God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:17-19). My friend, if you understand that your giving will make people around your or around the world spend eternity with God because of your giving, then why would you want to put a price tag on what God should give you back because of your giving? Today, we are so much attracted with what our eyes see that we sometimes forget that as believers, if we give in line with biblical principles and priorities, God will bless us above human understanding and the results of these blessings are in our accounts in heaven, not on earth! My friend, are you storing up treasures in heaven in a way that God calls you rich, or are you more interested in storing up treasures here on earth? If your account in heaven is meager, there is still time. Begin today by becoming a true disciple of Christ, a true ambassador and purpose to begin giving God’s way: give Him your time, your heart, your money, your possessions “in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you” (Deuteronomy 16:17). In other words, you alone can determine the proportion of what you need to give God, for it is according to what you deem He has blessed you with… Stay blessed in Jesus’ name. [facebook] [retweet]
