Today’s verse says “God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” My brother, my sister, have all your needs been fulfilled? Does it mean the Word of God is not true if you still have needs that have not yet been fulfilled? The truth is that, what most people tend to forget is the end of this verse: God fulfills only those needs of yours that glorify Him! Besides, the Bible says that not everything is beneficial for you (1 Corinthians 10:23). And God knows it! You see, we all tend to pray for things we think are necessary for us, but may not be for the Lord. Besides, He fulfill our needs on His own calender, not ours! It is not because Abraham and Sarah decided to have their own child with Sarah’s servant that God rushed to given Isaac… Isaac came at the appointed time of the Lord. He knew they needed that child, but the child came at His appointed time. My friend, forcing the hand of God will never produce the fruit God has planned for you… to start with, it will not even move Him to act on your own time. My friend,s we should learn to live like the birds: when little birds in their nests see their mother return, all they do is open their mouth wide for her to feed them. Do they know what she is going to feed them with? Not really, but all they do is they open their mouths, ready to swallow everything she gives them, just as a sponge sucks up the water in which it lies. My friend, God is ready to fill you if we are only ready to be filled with whatever He wants to fill you with, for He knows better than you what is good for you; Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
