TODAY’S MEDITATION – ” Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God” (Philippians 1:3-11)

This is the end of the year. The world is preparing to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s eye. Some Christians celebrate Christmas, others don’t… My brother, my sister, we enjoy God’s immeasurable gifts of grace and peace, yet many of us still think that the possessions and shallow experiences the world offers are the most important. That is the reason why most people, including believers, will be buying gifts for their loved ones and offer them. My friend, during this festive season, make it a priority to thank God for your loved ones above all things; thank Him for keeping them alive throughout 2013 and to protect and guide them in 2014; thank Him for grace and peace in their lives. Even for those who have gone through hardships, thank God for their circumstances, as the Bible says “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). Yes, Thank the Lord for the joy He has put in your heart when you remember your loved ones. My friends, the thanksgiving you will offer the Lord for their life, their health, their future is more significant than anything you want to buy or offer them. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
