Today, many Christians’ belief is so plagued with doubts and unbelief that we tend not to be sure to see what God has promised us. My brother, my sister, are 100% sure to see what God has promised you? Let’s look at the story of Simeon who was certain to see the Messiah before he died, so much that when he saw the baby Jesus, all he could do was say: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation” (verses 29-30). Along with Simeon was Anna, a widow who dedicated her life to the God (Luke 2:25-26, 37), and who was rewarded by this encounter of the Lord Jesus too. My friend, when you truly and faithfully seek and follow the Lord, He will indeed give you a deeper insight and clarity about His plans for your life, and God is not a man to lie, so expect those plans to be fulfilled anytime, according to His own agenda. And, no matter what happens, do not focus on the circumstances, but on Jesus with a heart of praise, prepared to receive His divine presence that brings along His blessings and all He has promised you. The Bible says: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). In other words, you yourself could be the reason why you have not yet seen God’s promises accomplished in your life, for He might still be waiting for you to repent, start living a godly life to bless you! Stay blessed in Jesus’ name. [facebook] [retweet]
