The answer to this question is clear on the following verse: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18). So, my brother, my sister if you are capable of recognising that the Spirit of the Lord is on you…. And that He is on you it to spread the Good News, then you are anointed. Be careful: here the Bible says ON me, which means the Spirit covers me, takes control! The problem is that many believers are anointed but don’t know they are because they think only pastors are! My friend, the mission to spread the Good News under the anointing of the Spirit of God was given to us all who believe in Christ Jesus and who are “fit” to do His work. If you make yourself available for service, the Lord will send you! He has already commissioned all of us in the Great Commission Matthew 28:13-20). But are you making room in your daily calendar for Him to be able to use you ? Some people want their dreams or plans to be fulfilled before they can serve the Lord. But the Lord wants to see you are capable of making sacrifices of your own plans first… before He can use you! My friend, you are (or can be) anointed to do good service for the glory of the Lord if you are willing to disappear and give Him all the place He needs to be able to work through you in a way that you and people will be able to give witness of that anointing.
