TODAY’S MEDITATION – Allow the potter to mould you (Jeremiah 18:1-6)

Many people who fear and love God still have at least one weakness in their lives that make them not to find peace, joy or healing etc. Sometimes, they are broken beyond repair in their own minds and deem themselves unable to do anything really valuable. My brother, my sister, know that you could be the most prayerful person, the best Christian you think you are or that people are calling you, as long as you do not allow God to mould you to fit His plans and serve His needs, you are still not on the right path. There is nothing you cannot be in this life, my friend, so long as you are being shaped by God’s hands. That’s why the Lord is saying to you like He said to Jeremiah: “Can I not do with you as this potter? Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand” (verse 6). Therefore, When you think you are flawed, the Lord can remake you; when you have the feeling you are falling apart, the Lord can put you back together again! God knows He cannot shape us in one go… because we are weak, unfaithful and rebellious in our hearts… So, sometimes He has to start with us all over! Yet, it is our time we are wasting in seeing the results of what He wants us to become. Yes, the more you resist Him, the more you are delaying His work in you ad through you. But, no matter what happens in your life, never throw your life away over a flaw, a mistake, or a sin. Never allow yourself to be broken and remain that way, for God can reshape you, heal you and put you back together again. He only wants you to be willing and to allow Him to mould you. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name. [facebook] [retweet]
