TODAY’ MEDITATION – The Son of Man will come when least expected (Luke 12:1-40)

Christ return is as real as you and me are real in this world. The strange observation we can make is that even some believers who call themselves Christians live as if this is just a legend. The Bible says is many times: Christ will return and the end times signs have accompanied the time of His return. My brother, my sister, Christ’s return at an unexpected time is not a trap, a trick by which God hopes to catch us off guard. In fact, God is delaying His return so more people will have the opportunity to follow Him (2 Peter 3:9). Yes, it is your duty, since you already know the Jesus to live out your beliefs and to reflect on His love as you relate and witness to others. You see, people who are ready for the Lord’s return are not hypocrites but sincere (verse 1), not fearful but ready to witness (verses 4-9), not worried but trusting (verses 25-26), not greedy but generous (verse 34), not lazy but diligent (verse 37). My prayer this morning is that your life may be more like Christ’s so that when He comes, you will be ready to greet Him joyfully. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
