TODAY’S MEDITATION – Can you tell others about your Jesus? (Isaiah 65:1)

There is one thing that many believers know, but that they seem not to put into practice: many know that we are not on this earth by accident, for God created us and built us up from our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). My brother, my sister, though the world we live in may tell you otherwise, God loves you and desires you to draw close to him. Yes, we are living in a fallen world, and we are all born with a sin nature. Yet, our Creator who is a holy, righteous and just God sent His Son to come and meet us, to pay the penalty for our sin in order for us to have a relationship with Him again. Therefore, enjoy this unique status to the full, by telling about your Jesus. You see, if you keep focusing on yourself, your problems, your sickness, etc… it is because you may not have met Jesus yet. The Bible says, “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.'” (Isaiah 65:1). My friend, none of us will ever be able to do enough good deeds to earn his/her way into Heaven to be with God… without Jesus, because He is the only One who conquered sin and overcame death for the entire humanity. Now, can you really tell the others about that Jesus, or do you content yourself with other people’s experiences of Jesus? Yes, He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, so He is still acting in our lives. Now, what is your witnessing of Him? The truth we tend to neglect is that Jesus Christ is a personal experience, a personal relationship, a personal commitment, a personal choice to live according to His standards… No one can tell the others about Him better than you can, but only when He is truly part of your life. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name. [facebook] [retweet]
