TODAY’S MEDITATION – God will never let you down when you serve Him (Deteuronomy 6:10)

Yesterday I met an amazing lady where I am staying at in Gonaives, Haiti : a writer who is now 98 years old. The whole family is composed of well-known writers and journalists in Haiti. Her daughter-in-law and her daughter were thrilled to hear that I was a writer too and called the people responsible for organising book fairs in Haiti for me to be able to participate next year. God is good: though yesterday’s church meeting was cancelled due to heavy rain the Lord opened a door for me to be able to meet these amazing people so that my own business (rhema publications) will also benefit from my time here opening Rhema RC Bible school and church… They said next year if I come, after church business, I should plan to stay to go around schools to speak as a writer, they will organise it. They own a huge national library in Haiti, know all journalists and writers, etc… and took my books for the library too…

My brother, my sister, God will never let you down when you serve Him… With all places I could stay in Gonaives, He sent me in this family: they fed me throughout my stay, offered a posh venue for today’s launch of our church and Bible institute free of charge though they are not believers and now they are calling reknown people of the town talking about my books, projects about books for children, etc.

Yes God never lies. When He sends you somewhere He also provides and open all doors… This is where we understand why the Bible says: “When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.”

My friends, I am so grateful to my Lord and I am being careful not to forget Him by giving this testimony: not only God does things for the interests of His Kingdom but also what will satisfy and fulfil you. Serve Jesus! He will take care of your matters and businesses. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
