TODAY’S MEDITATION – “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).

God has a great plan for all believers and it is His will to grant us, His covenant people, great blessings: “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.”(Isaiah 40:1-2). My brother, my sister, remember that the purpose of God’s consolation and action in our lives is to glorify Himself! That is why Jesus kindly invites us “Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). Therefore, do not allow any calamity, any adversity, any persecution, any kind of poverty or trial to prevent you from trusting God and laying down your burden and concerns at the feet of Jesus. Instead of being discouraged, strive to develop your faith by being obedient to Christ and persevering in your Christian walk with unwavering faith, regardless of your circumstances and problems. Without failing, hold fast the promises of God who says, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19). Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
