TODAY’S MEDITATION – How do I live a life of victory in Christ? (1 Corinthians 15:57)

So many believers pray to have victory in their lives, not knowing victory is already part of their lives. My brother, my sister, stop running after victory… live the life of victory, because victory is a free gift you have already received from God. Yes, the Bible says ” But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). Therefore, since victory is a gift, it cannot be earned or asked anyhow. Maybe what you need to understand today is that, in Christ, you have received this gift by the grace of God… and today let me tell you that the grace of God is much more than undeserved favour: grace is the mighty power of God working for us and accomplishing things for us that we could never do for ourselves. And in His loving grace, God the provider has provided us with victory through Christ. That is the reason why He is telling us that, no matter what our situation may be: “My grace is sufficient for you.”

My friend, today, learn today that God’s grace for you is simply Christ dwelling in you through His Spirit. Yes, when God says: “My grace is sufficient for you” He is saying, “My Christ is sufficient for you… Trust Him…. He can give you victory in every situation.” So, what you need to do then is rest in Christ and trust Him to keep you and to give you victory. This is how we can receive God’s grace and live the victorious life. As you understand this truth, you should also understand that asking God to give you victory over a situation is acknowledging that you have not trusted Christ through Him victory was given to us by grace. Sometimes, our prayers remain unanswered, just because of the way we formulate things to the Almighty. If you have been praying for victory in a specific situation, rather commit yourself to Christ again and take Him as your victory and keep moving forward while waiting patiently for God’s action. He will never fail you. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
