TODAY’S MEDITATION – God’s plans for you have not changed (Philippians 1:6)

We have all seen or heard about people who decided to go on a journey but became sick, so they changed their plans. Other people started building a house. But before it was finished they ran out of money, so they changed their plans. My brother, my sister, how many plans have you made or started but you abandoned because you were discouraged or something forced you to change their plans. Always keep this verse in your mind: “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

My friend, God does not get tired, sleepy, sick. He does not run out of money either. He is not forgetful. He has unlimited storehouses of supply and He will always, always accomplish what He sets out to do for each one o us. Look at the wonderful promise God makes for His children:“ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Yes, at some point in this life, everyone makes plans that may succeed or not. However, God who knows all the ins and outs of all plans will never alter His plans because of the political, social or economic situation of your country or your family… or even because you don’t agree with them. God’s plans are from everlasting to everlasting. They do not change! They do not get adjusted… Ask Jonah if he did not end up in Nineveh in the end?

My friend, our Lord is the everlasting God, the Mighty One, the Holy One and His plans will be accomplished in your life… Why should He change? He is God! Why should He adjust? He is God! He is the unchangeable One. The one who changes is Satan, because he is like a monkey that jumps on one branch when he sees the branch he is on is breaking… because he does not know everything he is an opportunist. Therefore, why do you focus more on what is not working in your life than on Jesus’ promise that He will be with you until the end of time? (Matthew 28:20). Set your eyes on the Maker of heaven and earth who has planned your life, for your help comes from Him alone (Psalm 121). Stay blessed in Jesus’ name.
